PENNETA HOME CARE SERVICES (where consistency and reliability matters) is a licensed, registered, privately-owned home care service agency providing non-medical care to the elderly and individuals aged 18 years and older in Lancaster, York, Reading, and surrounding Pennsylvania counties.

We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of care filled with compassion and kindness to enrich each client’s life. That is why we stand for consistent, benevolent, family-centered, and reliable care in the comfort of our client’s home. We believe that, along with our clients, our care team should also be our focus. Hence, we strive each day to hone their skills, knowledge, and capabilities through continuous education and training. We are also cognizant that each client’s need is different, so we take that seriously when staffing clients with caregivers.
The Founder
FLORENCE AWA
Florence Awa is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. She has over 14 years of experience as an RN and LPN in long-term elderly care and pediatric care. Additionally, she has more than 8 years of working as a caregiver for a home care company and in a nursing home setting. Florence received her LPN from Radians College in Washington DC and obtained her RN from Reading Hospital School of Health Science in Pennsylvania.
Florence served as a charge nurse for a home care agency, managing a team of nursing staff and training caregivers as well.
After watching her sick father not getting the adequate, consistent care he urgently needed, Florence vowed to ensure that other families and their aging loved ones won’t have to experience the same. This is why she founded PENNETA HOME CARE SERVICES in honor of her late father. She aims to provide families and loved ones with consistent, family-centered, and reliable care in the comfort of their homes.
Additionally, she is blessed with a business partner who has a solid background in business management and marketing. His expertise will ensure a smooth running of the day to day operations of PENNETA.
