About the Founder

FLORENCE AWA

Florence Awa is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. She has over 14 years of experience as an RN and LPN in long-term elderly care and pediatric care. Additionally, she has more than 8 years of experience as a caregiver for a home care company and in a nursing home setting. Florence received her LPN from Radians College in Washington, DC, and obtained her RN from Reading Hospital School of Health Science in Pennsylvania.

Florence served as a charge nurse for a home care agency, managing a team of nursing staff and training caregivers as well.

After watching her sick father not getting adequate, consistent care he urgently needed, Florence vowed to ensure that other families and their aging loved ones won’t have to experience the same. This is why she founded PENNETA HOME CARE SERVICES LLC in honor of her late father. She aims to provide families and loved ones with consistent, family-centered, and reliable care in the comfort of their homes.

Additionally, she is blessed with a business partner who has a solid background in business management and marketing. His expertise will ensure a smooth running of the day-to-day operations of PENNETA.
